Not much to write about… January 29, 2010
Hi,
I haven’t really achieved anything this week, I’ve progressively been getting more and more ill as the weeks wore on and as a result I just haven’t had the energy to take pictures, knit or draw, which means my hat hasn’t been finished but I still have 2 days so it’s not a total fail yet, it may wear onto next month though.
That’s pretty much it for this week I’ve just really been ill so I haven’t done much other than lie around and watch Gilmore Girls.
Hopefully next week will be a better post.

I need some Ideas January 25, 2010
Hi 
If you’ve read my last two posts, you’ll know that I’ve set myself some creative goals for this year, I’m well on my way to achieving these goals at the moment, theres just one problem at the moment, one of my goals is to draw at least one picture a month, the problem with this is, I’m having a total idea block, this is just me asking if any of you guys have any ideas as to what you’d like to see me draw, no limits on what you suggest, the more of a challenge the better .
thank you for any suggestions I’ll try everything that is suggested to me.

New Needles :-D January 22, 2010
Hi,
I don’t seem to have my blog writing head on atm 
this makes me sad, but I promised an update so an update I shall write.
First off, goals update 
I posted a new drawing on my DA (http://emzybobs.deviantart.com/), is a chibi sketch of FLChan, I copied it from a chibi sketch I found on google so it’s not original but its a drawing as I get more confidence drawing again I’ll be creating more original pictures but for now copying can be good practice, so without any more ranting on about it from me I present my drawing :

Isn’t she cute? I’m rather proud of her, she’s the first thing I’ve drawn in a long while.
If you read my last post, you’ll know another one of my goals is to finish a knitting project a month, this I think is going rather well at the moment, my hat is currently growing at a rate I’m happy with and, providing I knit a few rows everyday, I should reach my goal and be blogging a hat next week .
Here’s a picture of it so you can get an idea of where I’m now up to. 
As for the rest of my goals, I’m yet to find a jumper pattern I like, I got linked to a rather nice project that has cables for my cable knitting learning in the comments of my last post, I’ve taken a lot of pictures, but I haven’t really done any crochet or read much, overall I’m rather happy, I feel like I’m right on track and getting what I intend to do done so it’s all good an I’m happy .
In other non-goal related news, I updated my DeviantArt account to premium because I really wanted to a feel like it makes it look a lot better, this is kinda related to my goal actually because I feel like I’ll post more if all the features of the site are unlocked.
Almost finally but not quit, I went knitting group again this week as always, I’m really lucky to find a knitting group that meets every week or so I hear most groups only meet monthly, onto the point , I bought some new knitting needles from one of my friend’s at knitting group, there an awesome set of deluxe knit pro needles with gold-plated ends in a wooden box I got them for £35 which made me very happy, some pictures for you:

In totally unrelated news to the rest of the post, I got my Emilie Autumn tickets today!!! its the small things that make life good (if you don’t know who Emilie Autumn is this Youtube channel has her entire discography plus a few live recordings, its a fan made channel but its still pretty good for Emilie stuff http://www.youtube.com/user/wingedzephyr?blend=1&ob=4&rclk=cti )
Finally, before I go, I’m currently working on moving from emzybobs.wordpress.com to emzybobs.co.uk, I’ll make sure that when the transition happens I’ll have this blog redirect you to that site, this is just a pre-warning so there aren’t any wtf moments .
So that’s it for this what seems to have turned into a super long post, I hope next week I’ll have just as much to mention and more goals achived.

2010 Creative Goals =D January 17, 2010
Hi,
So I’ve decided I better make the best of this year at least on a creative level, I as just thinking to myself, I have the basic skills: I can Knit and Crochet, I’m not bad at Drawing and I’m getting back into Photography even if its at a hobby type level, so with these things in mind, what am I doing sitting around my room not doing much each day? I have skills, talents and things I love to do, I should use these things, I should improve myself, I mean if I get good enough at one of these things that I really love doing I could really go somewhere with it, so anyway lets get over the ranting bit and get to the point.
This year (2010) I’ve decided to set myself goals, some of these goal will be monthly some will be on going throughout probably forever, some will have a time limit of the year, all will have something to do with improving my creative skills, so without any more ranting from me I present my goals for 2010:
- Finish at least 1 Knitting project a Month (this can either be from my current w.i.p list or something new, either way it must be done before or on the months end)
- Knit a jumper (by the end of the year a wearable jumper must be finished)
- Take more photos (unlimited time period JUST TAKE PHOTOS!)
- Blog more (at least once a week! I know this one isn’t really creative but I really do need to do it)
- Learn more about Crochet.
- Submit at least 1 new photo/drawing/project to DA (Deviantart) a week.
- Draw at least 1 new picture a month (as I improve this will change to 2 pictures then 3 till its 1 a week)
- Learn to Cable Knit (and enjoy it)
- Finish the books I started last year (not creative but I really need to get back into the habit of reading)
So that is all I can think of right now, maybe I’ll come up with more at a later date, but for now I think the goals I’ve set are reachable as long as I work on them and by the end of the year if all goes well I should be alot better at the things I enjoy doing, which overall should make me feel better about myself .
Onto updates, since I last posted I attended the first knitting group of 2010, we have a new venue because the book shop our old Starbucks was in closed down , its a tiny shop and we took over most of it, but considering how my week was going it was the highlight of my week and I really enjoyed it .
In what I’m currently knitting related news, still knitting my hat and in light of my new goals I guess I’ll have to have in finished in around 2 weeks, its growing at a good rate so I have a good feeling about reaching that goal I’m really excited to wear it because I really love the colours of the yarn, I’ll post pictures in my next post (hopefully I’ll have it done by the end of this coming week).
That’s all for now really, I’ll also set a goal to post more knitting patterns, though its hard to create good patterns so I won’t put that in the list just yet

Oh Life I hate you January 13, 2010
Hi
First off yay for over the top emo title? I’ve been in a bit of a bad mood of late which is why I haven’t posted for a long long time, again I’ve messed up uni but this time I’m just not gonna try again next year I’ll more than likely mess up again.
So I guess seen as this is a crafting blog, mostly about my knitting I should tale about my knitting, I haven’t finished anything new in a while, but I’m currently knitting another hat, this ones red, black and a little bit of gray its turning out nice so far, I’ll blog it when its done.
In other news, related to craft but kinda more art type stuff, I got a new camera and took a few pictures of my needles and yarn because I’m a total knitting nerd I’ll post a gallery of my pictures at the end of this post.
I’m not going to post a video of the post video any more I don’t think it works well and it makes my blog look messy.
That is all I really have to say in this post, I’m going to start setting reminders on my phone telling me to post once a week, I’ll most likely do and update on a Friday and a post whenever I finish a project or something else good happens throughout the week.
Oh yeah before I go I just remembered I’M GOING TO SEE EMILIE AUTUMN IN MARCH! I’m really excited 
So I guess if everything goes to plan I’ll be posting again on Friday Toodles for now.

Hi guys,
So I thought it about time I get this blog going again, it seems I have been slacking recently and it not good, so in blogging style, heres a random poat about stuff I’ve been doing that you don’t care about because you probably don’t even know me.
So since my last post I passed my first project for Uni really happy about that because I thought I’d failed, it turns out if I’d of added some photos and my self evaluation form I’d have gotten a mark somewhere in the higher 60′s so happy times!
But I guess all you really care about is what I’ve been doing in regards to knitting, yesterday I finished anothe hat and I’ve recently cast on a throw in the most offensive neon colours I’ve ever seen, its gonna be sooooo ugly in a cool way .
I don’t think theres anything else I can write about that you’d find intresting atm, I’m aware that currently my blog isn’t the best and I promise to anyone reading that I’ll try harder and get some better posts up on here soon, I’ll start posting patterns and tutorials and links to rather cool craft related things I find.
I plan to make a post related to Halloween craft because I love it more than Christmas, so check back and I’m sorry my blog sucks recently I’ll try and get into the swing of things, this is my first blog and I’m a little rusty.
now I think I’ll post a song for the blog because it one thing I love to do, I’ve recently been listening to alot of musicals and I don’t think I can pick my favorite soI’m going to let my ipod pick and that can be the song I post

I’m Back :-D September 10, 2009
Hiii!!!
So lifes pretty much sorted out now which is good , all I need to do is make sure I get money to pay for, well living and I’m all set! I start Uni on Monday, which is awesome, I’m doing a course I actually like this time round so it should be good.
In terms of knitting, well I realised I have tooo many unfinished projects, I’m talking a whole shelf! its crazy, so I’ve decided that I shall use this blog to make myself finish these projects, I’m basically going to be really dissapointed with myself if I don’t have anything to post at least once a week because there are enough projects on my shelf to make that happen…..
So to start of the project finishing marathon I have some armwarmers or sleeves I haven’t decided yet, the plan will be, if I decide they are sleeves, to buy a cheap black jumper cut the arms part-way up then sew the sleeves onto the jumper, it should look pretty awesome, I’ll post up some pictures of them in my next post.
I guess thats all I have to post for now hopefully this time round I’ll get into the flow of blogging a bit better and get some better content up on here.

Heya!
So I haven’t really been blogging recently….busy, sad, annoying times.
I’ve still been doing alot of knitting, I even finished a hat (Pic at end of post!) my first one! and started another!
So I haven’t been blogging because I’ve been having to mess about with Uni, I finally managed to get a place! Art foundation , all I haveta do for Uni is make sure I’m getting my loans YAY fun!
I’ve also been moving out, I’ve had to move back to my Dad’s for august because I poor , I really really miss Preston, its so much nicer than Manchester.
So this post is just so I can say hi! I’m not dead just really busy with sucky life stuff thats never fun .
I’ll brb! Blogging shall re-commence probably in September.
